Divinity Original Sin and its sequel Divinity Original Sin 2 were both PC RPGs Kickstarted by Larian Studios. Like the computer RPG, Larian says that a single play-through of the board game might only cover 25% of the board game’s full content. But Larian says that even after using the one-use code, the actual board game will be hugely replayable. The studio will then compile the decisions and use player responses to plan future expansions for the game. Each copy of the board game comes with a one-use code that lets players submit their campaign choices to Lynnvander Studios. The Divinity Original Sin: The Board Game will run on Lynnvander’s Chronicle System which will make it so that player action not only has immediate consequences but will impact the direction of future Divinity board games. The board game will explore the Divinity Original Sin world with new stories, side quests, skills, items, and monsters.
Divinity Original Sin: The Board Game is a collaboration between Divinity creators Larian Studios and Canadian board game company Lynnvander Studios.
